Clay Hand Building ~ 4 Week Class/Session   Ages 6-15  

The semester will consist of 4 weekly classes, 2 hours per session.  Here kids can learn and have fun with wet clay and make masterpieces of their own to paint and take home!

Class days and times:  Tuesday or Thursday: 4:00-5:30   

                                           Saturday:  10:00-11:30 or 12:00-1:30

Based on experience and knowledge of clay, we offer classes for the following levels:

 Level 1: Children will learn the basics of wet clay and glazing. 

From such techniques as coiling and pinching, your children will acquire the basic hand building skills to mold and paint magnificent pieces of art.

Level 2: Once graduating from the basics in Level 1, children can now explore more detailed pieces.

By inspiring their own creativity and imagination they will build pieces that they will love! In Level 2 kids will also get to explore the wheel!

(We will offer two different classes for level 2 for those little ones who just aren’t ready for level 3!)

Level 3: For our clay experts we will offer a more difficult level of hand building, with larger projects, heavier detail and in addition, more wheel work

($20 material cost for wheel clay, aprons, and tools for you to keep for future projects). 

Cost: $119.00, and includes clay, paint, firing and the use of all of our tools.
