Brushes and Bisque is owned and operated by Cherilyn and Jason Saft.  Cheri and Jason met at Penn State University in 1993 and both graduated with business degrees.  After a few years in the corporate world they wanted to do something more creative together.  Growing up Cheri used to paint ceramics with her Mother and Grandmother, and then took Jason on pottery painting dates, so this was a perfect match!  Cheri became the manager of Brushes and Bisque in the summer of 2003, and they purchased the studio in February of 2004.  Since then Cheri and Jason have worked hard to make Brushes and Bisque a customer friendly, homey place where the "Pottery You Give Personality" comes alive!
